mainboard for ddr 2 or ddr 3 is better for this time

hi all so i not sure how to choose mainboard is must support ram ddr2 or ddr 3 is better for this time?
aa is a little thing for who want to upgrate your pc to a new

Hi,
if I were you, I'd go for the ddr3 as I've known that type of ram to be faster than that of ddr2. just make sure you get the ddr3 ram if you're going with a motherboard supporting ddr3.
I've had on rare occasions motherboards not work due to me putting in the wrong type of ram as a result of being careless.

Yeah DDR 3 is the way to go to be future proof. Also things like music production like using Sonar will run better if you want to use alot of plugins. Just remember with DDR 3 ram you want to go in 3's instead of like in pairs like you did with DDR2. For example in ddr2 ram you would use two 2GB sticks of RAMM to get the best performance out of 4GB of ram. Well with DDR3 you would want to use three 2GB sticks of ramm to get t the best performance out of 6GB of Ramm.
